Microsoft Video Conferencing
An ever-increasing number of videoconferencing manufacturers are announcing compatibility of their products with Microsoft Lync. The list includes LifeSize who recently confirmed interoperability of all of their hardware codecs with Microsoft® platforms. However for users of legacy equipment or non-Microsoft compatible products the story does not end here.
Network platforms, such as the SCOPIA Video Gateway from Radvision, are also compatible with Microsoft Lync and can therefore extend the reach of Lync thus providing connectivity and interoperability with any standards-based video conferencing or telepresence system.
These type of gateways allow users to realize the benefits of Lync in conjunction with existing estates of Video Conference Systems and new visual communication solutions, such as telepresence and video collaboration on mobile devices.
